Well, I got to meet Yelena in the am on line for tickets (she's really great), we both got tickets, met up later for the show...

Meat Beat Manifesto went on first...they we're pretty good, but I'd never heard them before, so it was my intro to the band, I kinda liked them.

Manson went on next...The new guitarist is really pretty...kinda goth in a way. He's got black hair shorter in the back than in the fron...in a way reminds me of Daisy...not that he looks like Daisy actually, but reminds me of Daisy. (I hope I'm making sense, it's 2:00 now, and I've been up since Wednesday, I'm beat) He played pretty well from what I could tell, the guitar was kinda low. He looked a little nervous, and didn't move around too much, but it's kinda expected...He's the *new guy* Hopefully he'll have a chance to grow into his role as guitarist.

Pogo has hair!!! It looks kinda silly IMO. He was wearing these funny goggles too...

Manson was in some hard to describe white thing. I can't really describe it. I'll try tomorrow when I'm more awake.

On to the show:
They opened with Irresponsible Hate Anthem. Sounded great. Yelena and I and our friends were right up front!!! (Yippie, or so I thought)...we got some good eyecontact with the Rev. (It's hard to look away from that stare of his.)

Next song was Get Your Gunn...

Started out well, but in the middle of it, Twigs white Gibson bass started giving him problems, he stopped playing to switch to the Black Ibanez Bass...the song finished out well

The next song was Dogma, no problems...sounded good,

Then into The Beautiful People, they played it to the end, but here's where problems arose...Mr. Manson threw his mic stand and left (now, there's something new) it hit Ginger, he stopped playing for a sec then picked up again...a few seconds later Twig totally scittzed out and started smashing his bass into the drum kit and Ginger...the whole band, except Ginger leaves the stage.

Ginger then starts clawing his way out from behind the drum kit, makes it half way, and colapsses. The entire place falls silent. It was really creepy...you can see blood on his shoulder...The roadies try to wake him up to no avail...They then move him...as they move him, we now could see a large gash on his head (he now has a mohawk type hair cut)

Once Ginger was moved, there was a very large puddle of blood...The Paramedic guys come up with a stretcher and first aid kit...they bandaged his head. (practically his whole head) He finally came around, so with the help of 2 paramedics he was able to walk to the ambulance outside...

When NIN went on Trent made an anouncement that 1. he was glad we all came out to the show, and 2. *Ginger the drummer of Marilyn Manson is OK, he'll be fine*

I don't know if this is fact or if Trent was trying to relieve tension in the place...the entire place had taken on a kind of somber feeling.

NIN played well, but there was a major amount of feedback, Trent's mic's kept cutting out on him...you could see he was becoming very upset...Kevin (of Prick) did indeed play guitar for him...They also did 2 Prick songs (Animal and Tough)

When they did Head Like a Hole, Richard Patrick joined them for it. It was really cool, but some of the excitement had left the building after Ginger's injury...(or at least that's the vibe I got)

NIN closed with *Something I can never have*...It would've been terrific, except for the fact that the drums were up way too loud so that alot of the rest of the song was drowned out, and it reverberated through the club at a deafening roar.

It seemed like the entire evening was cursed from the start of Manson set...none of them actually seemed quite right. I don't know how to explain it...

I'm going to stop now, I'm exahusted, I'll try to elaborate on the parts I kind of skimped on tonight after I get some sleep...or Maybe Yelena will be able to fill in the gaps...

Love and Pixy Stix,
Regina (who is still worried and upset about Ginger)
