It was just a shitty atmosphere in general. Too bad because
the sound was good and the stage is really tiny and there's no security
guards in front. The first thing that happened was that when the band
opened w/ Wrapped in Plastic, Manson's mic wasn't as loud as it should
have been. When this wasn't corrected as fast as he might like, he threw
the mic stand at one of the guys who worked there but had nothing to do
with the sound. O yeah, there was barely anyone there. I think there
were more people ther to see Clutch than for Manson. Just perfect, put a
whole bunch of punk rock assholes who get a thrill out of bothering the
performer where anyone can just grab any of the people on stage. Two
things happened at about the same time which ended the show. Some fuck in
front of me grabbed Twiggy's bass, so Twiggy kicked him and spit on him
and then chucked a whole bottle of water at him very hard. I ducked. That
probably hurt. Manson was wearing pantyhose on his arms, so someone tried
to tear it off of him, but it wouldn't tear, but they wouldn't let go.
Security didn't even help until it was too late. Rev. must have been hurt
by the look an his face. He took his free hand with the mic and punched
the guy in the face as hard as he could. Finally the guy let go and
Manson just fell on the stage and didn't move for a while. He got up and
left the stage. Meanwhile Twiggy was pissed off at the other guy, so he
just walked over to ginger and pushed the whole drum set over. They all
left. One of the bouncers who was pretty cool came out to kick the two
guys out. OK fine. Then he comes back and tells us that the show is
definitely over and Mr. Manson had definitely broken his wrist. I guess
the police and the paramedics were already on the way so he told all the
other bouncers to tell the police that he had hit the guy, trying to keep
the Rev. out of trouble. We were kicked out of the building then. There
were cops everywhere, even K9 s. Ther was an ambulance there too, so we
waited around for a while. It eventually left without Marilyn. WE had a
long drive ahead of us so we left. I was about a foot away from what
happened with Twiggy and Marilyn.
I really doubt that his wrist is broken. I'll feel like a dick if I'm
wrong, but it didn't look to me that it could have broken his wrist.
Twiggy overreacted. The guy was a dork, but Twiggy wasn't very
professional. I hope that they can play tonight. That's about it . Any
Questions?
