i dont want to spoil it for everyone so i'm not going to give away any of the
wonderful details regarding the stage or the production... but it was
AMAZING!!! i felt like a little kid on X-mas morning!! what a show!! i think
you all will be amazed as well...
as fer all the talk about wanting a ACS movie... the show was like an ACS
musical!! reminded me of the Who's Tommy only better!! and i can't wait to
see it again tomorrow night...
i don't want to ruin the *experience* for anyone... but i will tell you the
songs they played roughly in order:
1. angel w/the scabbed wings
2. get your gunn
3. dogma
4. dried up tied up & dead to the world
5. torniquiet
6. sweet dreams (the only disappointment)
7. Irr. Hate Anthem
8. lunchbox
9. Minute of Decay
10. little horn
11. cryptorchid
12. ACS
13. The Reflecting God
14. 1996
15. The beautiful ppl
16. cake & sodomy
17. misery machine
18. Man that you fear
the whole show was truly wonderful and after hearing/seeing the songs from
ACS performed live, they have become much more poignant. actually, i could
have done without the older tunes, IMO. and that was shared by chicken &
sara lee... i thought i really would want to hear the old stuff (as i posted
before)... but after tonight, i would much rather prefer all the newer
material... i dunno. it's weird but the older tunes just didn't seem to fit
well with the ACS songs... plus, after hearing/seeing them so much before,
they didn't possess the same value in the context of the show, IMO.
i guess you'll have to see for yourselves... then we can discuss it here...
only bad point were all the assholes... expect quite a few when you go... oh
yeah, and i thought our poor little Rev was gonna lose his voice! Zim Zum
was adorable but quite the *puppet* as sara lee put it...
^^^dark one^^^ out.
