Ok, I am doing my review and telling of my experiences in two, maybe 3 parts depending on how much I can think of. This part will be basically about the concert itself. So if you've read enough reviews, bite me and go elsewhere. Oh yeah, i will probably repeat some of what Peter Koven said, but i have more to tell ;)

Well, I fly to Toronto for the show and arrive Monday night. On Tuesday (concert day), I awake, have a bowl of cereal and head out at around 10am. I do some shopping before I go down to the warehouse, so I arrive at around 1 in the afternoon. About 30 people were already there lined up. I was by myself so I just sat down next to a group of alternateens. More people kept showing up and people really started coming at around 5-6 at night. It was a breezy night so I was pretty chilly. At around 3, my saviors arrive -- Drunkfux and Nillaice. I spent alot of time talking to them and sitting in Nilla's car to keep warm.
FINALLY, at 8 they open the doors and i rush into the warmness. I go grab a slice of pizza for $3.75 (the bastards!) and gobbled it down. Well, NY Loose comes on.. they weren't bad. Me and Nilla grooved to them, while dfx ran around doing something. When NY Loose finished I went to try to push my way up to the front of the stage.. bad idea. it's packed tighter than . Ok, the anticipation builds, then BAM!! out comes the boys. some music, "he is the angel with the scabbed wings.." the crowd screams. the second manson shouts "DEAD" the pit surges alive and i get tossed around like mad. first to the left, then to the right, then forward and back.. crazycrazy. I thought my chest would cave in under the pressure.. easily the worst pit I've been in. I started in the back on twiggy's side, and after dogma (3rd song) i was in the front on zim zum's side. yes, that IS crazy!! Now, i've heard stories of people being mesmerized by manson and thought nah.. but honestly, I would look at him and just stare in utter awe.. not feeling the 50 million feets crashing on my head.. until one guy's whole body lands on me and jolts me awake.
Various Highlights of the show were: Zim Zum was looking damn fine and was playing extremely well, bopping his head and moving around. Pogo looked either extremely high or extremely hyper, and yes Rudy, there was something interesting in the ceiling again cuz he always looked up. :) Didn't see much of Twiggy and Ginger unfortunately. ACS was majorly intense. i LOVED (can't stress enough) the podium and the bible ripping and the salutes and kisses.. just amazing. My only complaint was the snow during Cryptorchid.. I kept inhaling it and it got in my eyes and was generally damn annoying.
I left the pit when Reflecting God started for fear of my death, but to my dissappointment, few people actually new the song. I saw one guy near me bang his head to it (as was I) and sing along, but other than that, not much of a response. I wish i stayed in the pit. well.. i went to get some water during the first break and watched C&S and misery machine from afar.. they left again, i spoke with dfx a bit and then man that you fear.. just kick ass.. loved it. but i was too far away too see what was on the mike stand.. it looked cool, but couldn't tell. and it ended.. :( I was exhausted (not to mention starving) but i wanted more...... (on to the aftershow)

Well, I enter the bar with Peter, and look around. No band members. I find a girl I had met in line (Alexis, real doll, more in post 3).. we sit and chat, and I wonder aloud, "when are they gonna get there" and Alexis says "there's Ginger right there".. HOLY SHIT!!! I get up and stare at him for a bit, and eventually he comes over and I tell him I'm glad he didn't get his ass kicked and the show was great.. couldn't think of much else. :) He leaves and I'm just standing there, and I think it was Peter who pointed out Twiggy surrounded by girls. We walk over to him, say hi and shit and he leaves somewhere. Then I thought he was a jerk. I turn around and there's Zim Zum (who i had met previously outside standing in line. He was smoking with the head security guy and me and the two girls i made friends with noticed him.. the girls started fondling themselves to get zim's attention when the security guy called us over.. we talked to zim who was EXTREMELY nice and damn sexy. one of the girls was all over him (he took a liking to her). I told him i wanted to see him after the show and get pics and stuff and he said that would be cool.. and he left) anyways, i started talking to zim and asking him all sorts of questions. He answers every one and seemed pleased to do it too. He told me about the three dots standing for the Trinity on the album and stuff like that. He also told a story of when him, twig, and a crew member went to a restaurant, and ordered alot of burgers. on the way back to the hotel they were throwing them out of the window and they got stopped by the cops. They didn't get a ticket, but they DID have to go back and pick up all the burgers they threw. hahahha! Zim also told about filming TBP (tourniquet will be filmed in toronto by same director). Well, zim had no picks for the shoot, so he played guitar using a Canadian coin (a Toonie perhaps..hehehe).. apparently this was a bad idea as his knuckles started to bleed (he showed us the scars).. well, in the scenes that's he's moving like a robot, he explained that he was actually trying to get the fishnet gloves not to stick to his bloody hands, and the director started filming. :) i thought it was a cool story.
Onto ginger now. We talked to Ginger quite a bit, and he told of his days in Las Vegas and said he toured alot in local bands but wouldn't give specific names. The reason he wasn't pictured in ACS (Peter already explained this) was that he finished all his drum parts and left for Las Vegas while the others finished the album. Originally, there was only gonna be pics of the Rev, but twiggy, whined and got one, and then Pogo cried and got one too. When I mentioned the lack of credit, Ginger seemed a little angry at manson for it, but didn't say directly. So at that time, I said, well, since you had no pics in the album, it's time to get your picture taken now.. he got a huge smile and put his arm around me and said yeahyeah!!! hehe, he's wicked.
Talking to Pogo is an experience. He's great to pal around with. He was cracking jokes and answering all the questions.. when I asked to take a picture of his legs for Sara, he said "why do you want a picture of my legs?!".. i said for a friend that's obsessed with them, and he kinda grinned and said "well, uh ok, but they're nothing special.. i'm wearing these shitty pants right now.." and i snapped the pic. :) He told of his drug bust in Iowa and that's when he shaved his head. He said he shaves his head when he gets angry. hehe, and he wants to grow out his hair and have it like Eddie from Iron Maiden. I think Peter asked him if he was on drugs then and he replied "not enough". When I ran out of things to ask, he looked uncomfortable and saw someone he knew, but when he left he said "i'll call ya!"
YEAH!! HE'LL CALL ME!! i hope he has my number. :P
I spoke with Twig just for a couple minutes and asked if he got his Atari 2600 (a girl brought it for him).. he said yes and was about to thank me when i said it wasn't from me.. hehehe. It came with the Journey Game, so i said he must've been a happy boy, and he smiled and said "yep!". He wasn't a big jerk after all, though he seemed more interested in talking to girls.
After waiting for almost 2 hours, the Rev (who was sitting on the couch almost the whole night) finally got up to leave and I rushed him to ask for a picture.. he told me to make it quick, which I did, cuz i didn't really wanna bug him. Well, when me and Peter were walking out, he was walking beside us, so I got to ask him about Vancouver and he said yes, there will be a Vancouver date in January sometime! He then reached out his hand and I shook it.. needless to say my hand has not been cleaned since then. ;)

HIGHLIGHT OF THE AFTERSHOW!!
While talking to Manson the first time I told him how much I loved the stage setup of ACS and the podium and the bible and stuff. I said "That podium was cool, you really seemed to get off up there." He looked down at me and gave me this HUGE smile.. woohoo!! if only i'd taken a picture right then.
