Well, i guess you all can guess that the show was the shit of shit ! It was really good.
The consert for me began like before i even got in the door. everybody was all dressed up (I dont know if i liked that or not seemed like alot of manson posers were there)... the line was very "interesting" i got stuck next to a drunken frat boy and a made up 13 year old who "JUST LOOOOOOOOOOVES MANSON" but not all the people there were posers i ended up standing pretty near the guys who do the cyberpunk/goth radio show at 89.5 WSOU (a rather small college radio station in jersey) they kicked ass. But anyway, on line there was this really cool chick wearing a top hat passing out candy, I thought that that was in the true spookykids spirt and was going to ask if she was a spook, but then i figured i didnt want to act like a manson know it all, and/or look like i was hitting on her, but anyway, i stood on line in the freezing cold (idiot me hadnt changed clothes in like 2 days (underwear i had dont make fun of me it's expensive doing laundry) and i was still wearing my fishnet undershirt, shorts, and fishnets under them, along with a black velvett t-shirt, thus my body was warm the rest of me cold.) and finally they let us in ...... NY LOOSE was great, i really really liked their music and i dont think it's because of the atmosphere or all the second hand pot smoke (or first hand) i just thin kthey were really good.
Then helmet went on and they were ok, but all the moshing frat boys had to get happy somehow, it was pretty funny. the lead singer asked everybody if they really dressed like this or only for the manson show.... almost everyone there was all "gothed out" even the frat boys (beer shirts and black make-up... who did they think they were fooling) but the moshing was great .... it was cool to mosh to this band because you werent concerned with hearing the band as much so it became like the backround music to a vivid violent dance ..
Just after helmet got off i worked my way up to the fron (about one row of people from the stage, i felt realy bad for the people in front of me because some loser bitch was trying to push infront of me the entire time and it was making them really uncomfortable..... They came out on stage, opened with angel with scabbed wings and went right into get your gunn .... it ruled ... get your gunn had all the energy it had way back at the New Years eve show and more ... these guys have gotten alot better.... during the show some asshole threw something at twiggy and he got real pissed off .... fuckin people come to beat up this band not to listen UUGGHH.... the chick in front of me was awesome ... som guy told manson that he was a loser and he'd like to kick his fuckin ass, and this chick totally told this guy off, it ruled.... some key points in the show CRYPTORCHID ... wow, the snow, the spot light wow it was really good... but even better yet ANTICHRIST SUPERSTAR... i can still see it in my head .... the podium ... candidate Rev Marilyn Manson giving his acceptance speech to the fascist antichrist party ... it was amazing it was like being in a fucking nazi party rally (not that i like nazis ... no no not at all i just thought that it was amazing how well the rev paralleled himself with another antichrist .. hitler) the way that Twiggy moved back and forth from side to side with the beat and the way that madonna banged on the 2 drums they sent up for him added to the fascist parralelism .. it was great ...... Sweet dreams and The beautiful people got the best crowd responses ... "What does it feel like to be some of the Beautiful people.." manson said ..... soooo many posers were there too ... they must have felt soooo dumb...
The bands encore was good ..... but they never played a second one .. and the show ended much to my disappiontment.... getting home sucked and i feel asleep half way home almost drove off the road ... hell, it was worth it....
