Well, you've probably already read Sara and Darke One's comments about the Madison show, but I'm going to post mine anyway. If you don't like it, TOO BAD!!

So, we have the hardest time finding the place (the fact that we had no idea where it was contributed to that) but we do finally get there, and go in. It had to be the weirdest audience I had ever seen at a Manson show. They were mostly.....normal looking!!! There were quite a few ppl wearing Manson shirts, but a lot less face makeup, no band member look alikes, less leather, and I don't think I saw anyone wearing fishnets besides me. Besides that, the median age of the crowd was like, 14. So we go in, they hardly search us at all as compared to Chicago, where they wouldn't let me wear my collar in (I was sooo pissed!!) but we go inside and there's SEATS!!! I don't think there are really many clubs in Madison, which probably explains why they went to such a place. Anyway, Sara and I find seats and sit for NYL, then between sets we go up to the (very small) pit and squirm our way into the second row. I only stayed in the pit for about half the show, then I got out of there and found a more peaceful place to stand, which, unfortunately, included an obstructed view of Zim Zum :(

I must say, out of all the shows this weekend, I enjoyed the Madison one the most. Maybe it was just my mood or whatever, but I did really get into it more last night. Zim Zum wasn't really rockin out as much as before, but to me, he's still cool :) Not a whole lot to say about the audience, except one guy kept jabbing me in the ribs. I'm not too banged up though. It was a really good show.

And afterwords, as you already know, we hung out with Ginger...it was cool. There's a *lot* of people standing out on the sidewalk and we're just off in this little dark area, talking to him. A couple other ppl came up to him and started asking questions like "What's your new guitar player's name?" but otherwise, we had him to ourselves...and he remembered us from Iowa..that ruled!! We also learned from Ginger that Pogo did the IX VI III VII thingie on the album cover, so if anyone just happens to run into him, ask him about it.

Unfortunately, the security ppl weren't as nice to us as Ginger. After Ginger left us, they started telling people to go away. Zim Zum tried to come out to talk to ppl, and a bunch of ppl tried to gather around him, but the security guards shooed them away. Zim Zum is just like "I just wanted to say hi." He's so nice...he just has bad timing.

Pretty soon after that, we left. Sara and I got lost in the middle of nowhere (read: Kenosha, WI) on the way home. Oh yeah, and not only did my parents let me take their car up to Kenosha, this morning my mom washed my clothes, which were all sweaty from the concert, and gave them to me and said "Now you'll have clean clothes for the next mosh pit." Then again, I don't think my mom really knows what a mosh pit entails...
