Saturday - drove to Raleigh, got a room & hung out at the Ritz where I met up with MMSlavegrl & Derek & my friend Mark (who is a HUGE Manson fan - if anybody has seen the Carrboro video he's the guy Manson dragged onstage who says "who's my daddy"). Mark had run into Manson before the show & given him a sculpture of a bust of him with angel wings on a staircase covered with worms that Manson loved & he gave Mark aftershow passes & a T shirt that will be coming out in a few months - has a Jesus with 3 faces on the front & on the back says "BELIEVE" with the "LIE" portion in the center in a different color so it stands out.

The Raleigh show was great even tho several large goons behind me were determined to kill me to move me out of the front row & I was very very frightened before Manson started - luckily once they started the goons had enough problems of their own tho Mark's brother Jeff did have to punch one out that was going for me. It was VERY VERY rough - the crowds this year were FAR more violent than in the past. As it was my 50th Manson show (can you believe it?) I took an eyeliner & wrote "50" on my forehead & coyote did the same - wonder if the Rev noticed or understood - I guess I just wanted him to know). The show went pretty well until somebody (according to MMSlavegrl) dropped a drink on the soundboard & the Rev aborted the show yet again.

Afterwards we waited by the bus hoping the band would come out - they did but went straight on and didn't stop to talk to anybody like they did last year (aside from Ginger who came out earlier for a few minutes). Waited in car in the cold for Sara Lee to eventually show up from hanging with NY Loose.
