EVB's DEAD TO THE WORLD TOUR
Wednesday - Actually went to work after having about an hour's sleep. I
still don't know how I did it! Cut out early to meet up with everybody &
headed downtown to the 9:30 club where the night was a vast improvement. We
got down there early & met up with a great many of our friends - I don't
think I've EVER been to a show with so many of my nearest & dearest). In
line beforehand Twiggy snuck up disguised in a horrible wig that made him
look sorta like Robin Finck & said "hi" - he'd gotten word from my friend
Carrie that coyote had finally finished the Twiggy sculpture (by his request
after he'd seen the one she'd given Manson last year) so Twig & Zim Zum
followed us back to my car where he got to unwrap it & cooed appreciatively!
Got a couple of pix of him with him - sniff, how was I to know they'd be
the only Manson pix I'd get this tour (compared to literally ALBUMS full on
previous tours)
Got inside & got primo spots on the rail in front of Twiggy. The show was
the best I saw this tour & at one point the Rev stage dove into the audience
& basically landed on coyote's head - I was actually holding him up by his
butt there for a bit! (not that I minded at all, of course!!!) They did the
complete show with the podium and snow and all tho sadly only the one
encore of Cake and Sodomy and Misery Machine. Afterwards we hung outside
for a while & headed to ihop.
Thursday - friend's stolen car was found (minus wheels stereo & all their
Manson memorabilia...) so back up I-95 we went! Meanwhile coyote went down
to the airport to meet up with Sara Lee.
