Well, listsibs, we have found our way home after the Baltimore show this
evening, and I'm glad to report no Daisy bashing occurred; in fact, they
seemed to be on pretty good terms--the Rev even got a couple of decent
smiles outta Dais. Show-wise, it was good, tho far from brilliant, quite
tame, actually--of the usual bag of Reverential tricks he only played the
beer bottle to the head game. For soundcheck they pulled an unfamiliar
song out of the hat--I'm assuming it's one of the new ones (but not Smells
like Children, Irresponsible Hate Anthem, or Tourniquet...), and, as they
played it through about five times I'll sure know it when I next hear it.
No Rock & Roll Nigger, only one encore as usual, Sweet Dreams and Misery
Machine (still the best thing to end the show with, as far as I'm
concerned!).
Due to circumstances beyond my control my cake didn't make it to the show,
but, hey, there's always next year....(hm, mebbe I should plan one for
Twiggy's birthday...anyone know the date? I know it's in June...)
Time to crawl off to bed (before we fall over)....
