This night was much better-they did the whole set including Deformography
and a way cool slowed down version of Mr. Superstar which I loved. Before
the show there were a bunch of religious protesters outside and I gave out
some of angelynx's flyers. There was a camera crew there and they said
they were covering the show and it was going to be on the local news. They
interviewed some fans but I couldn't hear if they were saying anything
intelligent. Ginger played well and he appeared to be in one piece. Mr.
Manson seemed in a better mood and wasn't harassing Ginger. Twigs was his
usual adorable self and he had that tan/beige dress on again which I feel
is a bit blah for him. I guess he likes it though 'cos he's worn it quite
a lot on this tour. The place was not as packed as I thought it would
be-they definitely didn't sell this one out. It was a pretty big place for
them. There were the usual annoying crowd surfers whose goal in life must
be to completely piss me off and prevent me from giving my 100% to focusing
on the band. I wasn't going to mention this, but I am having a problem
with Zim Zum's playing. This is only my opinion so don't get all bent out
of shape if you really love Zimmy. I just don't feel the emotion coming
through his guitar work like I felt when Daisy played. I'm not saying that
he should play exactly like Daisy-everyone has their own style-but he just
definitely is not knocking my socks off. Maybe I'll change my mind in the
future when he is more active in the writing process, but for now I have to
say I'm a bit disappointed with his playing (but I guess he plays one heck
of a game of Dungeons and Dragons). After the show there was a huge crowd
of people trying to get near the bus which was behind a gate. No band
contact this time =(
