No long glittery review. Sorry.
Good show tho. Songs that I can remember, and not necessarily in order are:
Reflecting God (with new and different song structure and lyrics.),
Lunchbox, Cake and Sodomy, Posthuman, Dope SHow, White World, Rock Is Dead,
Speed of Pain, Sweet Dreams, Don't Like the Drugs.
Actually I think that is all. Yeah, boys and girls, he yet again played a
short show in Charlotte NC. Woo. Threw a tantrum, or it seemed so, (May
have been planned that way) during Lunchbox, only sang the first half of
the song and then stormed off stage leaving the band to finish out... then
came back out and said something really weird about Jesus making marijuana,
cocaine and LSD and launched into don't like the drugs, and we saw no more
of Mr. Manson.
Speed of Pain was really good, and I remember thinking.. hmm.. they should
kick into Rock is Dead here... would fit well, and ta da! There it was.
Very good also.
Ginger got beat up and splashed a lot. Many water bottles flying into the
crowd. Lots of stupid drunk rednecks with better fucking seats than me at
the show (is it any wonder I can't wait to get the hell out of Charlotte?)
So anyway - kinda not very memorable at all out of the 9 shows I've seen.
Blah.
Maybe they'll keep touring long enough for me to get another chance to see
em as I cross the country. But I doubt it.
And just for Aleck - Hope Nicholls was in attendance and sittig on the
front row. =)
*sigh* Another lame show... I prolly wouldn't be so bummed but it's my onlt
one this tour...
Oh well.
Love
Melanie
