Transmission Incoming from year 2713, year of the Coma White-

We have traveled to the place called Tampa, Florida on the 27th day of the 3rd month of the year 1999. We have come to study the phenomena known as Marilyn Manson: whose teachings are the foundations of our civilization.

The waiting was the worst part:

To be honest, we didn't even get the name of the first band. All we saw (and heard) was some fat bitch screaming and lots of bass. The peak of her performance was some real juicy Courtney Love trashing. Monster Magnet did an ok job tiding us over, but our anticipation to see the GOD OF FUCK had already overwhelmed us.

After Monster Magnet left the stage, the lights came on and we were pleased to hear cuts from Pink Floyd "The Wall". It helped make the time pass (In our time, all elevators play Pink Floyd). We think it was one of the more planned elements of his show. Many of the tracks from Manson's Archives have a Pink Floyd like feel (i.e. "The Speed of Pain" and "Antichrist Superstar"). Finally, the lights came off and we waited in silence for a good 7 minutes (it felt like 200), but at least we could start smoking.

Then the announcer introduced our grand master, our OMEGA 15. Manson appeared wearing a black see-thru bodysuit, a G-string, and wings. His face was painted blue from the eyes up like some Nordic God. He was bigger than life"… a true "Angel with Scabbed Wings." As Mr. Manson approached the stage, it became apparent that he was crucified to a cross (a reference to some forgotten Deity) that had been made of computer monitors and/or TV sets. The apparatus that Gacy's Keyboard hung from was also true genius. It was made with a set of black wrought-iron bars with 2 chains holding it up like a swing. Reflecting God was the first song played as Manson chanted:

"No salvation a-ha no forgiveness a-ha while we chanted right back.

It was standing room only as Manson showed us what a true rock show should be. We were especially pleased with his stage presence as he put on a different mask (or revealed a different face, depending how you look at it) for each track he played. Each song isolated on a particular area of Manson's multiple personas: sexy, strong, dark, humorous, and passionate. After he appeared on stilts, blew up the crucifix (while we hummed "GOD IS IN THE TV"), pounded his microphone on his chest many times, preached of dreams from our God: Drugs, and generally worked on cuts from M-A, Manson began to mix in cuts from Antichrist, Portrait, and Smells Like Children.

The highlight of the show was when Manson appeared on a podium and tore up a bible while singing Antichrist Superstar. This is another great reference to him playing "The Wall" before the show. We chanted like young Nazi soldiers at some death rally! We have never felt so much power in one place at one time. If these are really some of the "Last Days on Earth," then let our Reverend Manson be the one to lead us into the Age of Aquarius.

His devoted servants,
