Well, Tuesday, Mar 23 was pretty uneventful. My friends and I arrived at Reunion Arena about 6:30pm. They had seats in the upper balcony, I was in the lower. I had a great view of the stage. About 7:30pm, Monster Magnet came on and were rather loud, stated by the fact of four guitars, at least two of those were basses. They closed with the one song that everyone knew, "Space Lord". A 30 minute intermission proceeded Manson. When Manson came on, there was a large crucifix made of TV's w/ static that he was tied to. He opened with "The Reflecting God". He then proceeded into "Great Big White World". Afterward came "Get Your Gunn" from Portrait, then "Mechanical Animals" where he brought out his stilts The band went on to play "Rock is Dead" which he had a "tin-foil" like outfit. Then came "Sweet Dreams", followed by "Dope Show" and "IDLTD(BTDLM)", "Speed of Pain" in which snow fell during the ending of the song much like the November 5th show. They played "lunchbox" and during the long pause of the song, he taunted a DPD officer. Manson said that a girl up front looked like "she wants to fuck me hard, but this cop here looks like he wants me harder!" He then proceeded to mock the cop by offering a lap dance and that he "likes a man in uniform". He pulled down his pants and masturbated in front of the cop. He went to the other side and did the same thing to another officer. After that song, he came out in a police uniform and said, "everyone here is dressed like this, so I figured, I'd dress like everyone else! Texas, we need a new national anthem... 'We hate love, we love hate'" The crowd began to chant and the backdrop of the American flag w/ the "shock" symbol in the star field towered over Manson as he sang "Irresponsible Hate Anthem" during which, the latter part, some guy came out in full military regalia and shot Manson w/ either a paintball or just an air gun and he fell under a mockery of an assassination (I couldn't tell which, my vantage point was too far away). he then collapsed and two stagehands dragged him off the stage setting up for the next song. The banners for "Antichrist Superstar" dropped behind him as he came back with his podium to sing the song of the same name, during the song, fire erupted from two burners during impact moments of the song. They were in front of the banners hanging behind him in the upstage area. He then proceeded to rip up a Bible during the song and shouted, "Hallelujah Motherfuckers!" during the closing of the song. He then asked us "how does it feel to be one of the Beautiful People?" and segued into "Beautiful People". He had two encores with "Cake and Sodomy" and "Rock and Roll N*****" During which, Twiggy slammed his bass into the drums and sent a screeching feedback and that was the show.

He made a couple comments about the God billboards around Dallas saying that he "saw a sign from God that said 'I can hear everything you say'. Well, you gotta be pretty fucking deaf not to hear this!" He then went onto say that he had a dream and asked if we wanted to hear it, "I had a dream I was swimming in a sea of alcohol, and I washed up on a beach made entirely of cocaine. And I looked up and noticed the sky was LSD! And God came down from heaven and said to me that we will no longer spell God 'G-O-D'! I said, 'God, then how will we spell it?' And he said, 'We will spell it D-R-U-G-S!'" Then he sang "IDLTD(BTDLM)" Later on he asked the audience, "How many of you have heard of a man by the name of Dick Armey? He tried to cancel this show. With a name like that, it sounds like a gay bar! He's supposed to be YOUR representative, the way I see it, he's not doing his job too well!"

Overall, another kickass show. Above all, there were NO PROTESTORS! Ironic, I think. This is my second time to see Marilyn Manson and I must say it's always been a great show. He got the audience involved in most of the songs. the songs he played, by album: POAAF: "Get Your Gunn", "Cake and Sodomy", "Lunchbox". Smells Like Children: "Sweet Dreams", "Rock and Roll N*****". ACS: "The Reflecting God", "Beautiful People", "Irresponsible Hate Anthem", "Antichrist Superstar". MA: "Dope Show", "Rock is Dead", "Great Big White World", "Mechanical Animals", "Speed of Pain", "IDLTD(BTDLM)". He only changed outfits about three times and not worth mentioning the outfits.

We got to our car about 10:30 and were still in awe
