The show started out on time with Monster Magnet. They only played about a half hour to 45 min. The audience was somewhat into them , which suprised me since a couple of people I talked to before the show didnt even know who Monster Magnet was.
The arena was only about half full for Monster Magnet, but more arrived for Hole during the intermission.
The first song Hole played was "violet". After that song she starting telling us that she was sick with a fever and was going to cancel but they played anyway. She was very positive except when someone threw a cup of something at Eric. She said we could throw things at her if we wanted because shes used to having things thrown at her. She also said if we didnt stop throwing things at Eric that we could have our "burning cross" . Besides that they played well . She also said that she wrote the song "Dying" for Trent Reznor and asked if we missed him. She went on to say that she hadent even told her band what that song was about. They played a good hour to an hour and a half.
You could clearly tell that this was an audience for Manson. The show started like all the rest in other reviews. He made the change "The drugs they say are made in Sacramento".
One change i did see was that for the second encore they played "Coma White", which was preformed great. The stage was great through out the show. Manson had alot of energy and played with the crowd alot. At one point he bent over and mooned us. At another time he stuck his ass up to Twiggy and Twiggy began to "please" him , if you will. All in all it was a great show. Im glad i have tickets to the May 4 show in Fresno, im sure it will be awesome.
