I just came back from rock werchter. I didn't stay untill the end, because I was too tired and didn't care about the other bands.
Monster Magnet was the first band I saw. They were very good.

It's 16.15 and manson is supposed to show up. Some girl asks if anyone has seen a blind deaf guy and says he has to go to the entrance. I don't think it was a joke though.
It's 17.00 the band shows up and they start with reflecting god. Twiggy wears a pink dress with snot hanging out of his nose. The girls next to me were discusted.
Manson wears black pants, a corsage and a black head. His hear is all black again and much longer than on the MA pictures. They played the same songs as in the US (i think): reflecting god, sweet dreams, lunchbox, beautiful people, rock and roll nigger, sweet dreams, cake and sodomy, great big white world, the dope show, rock is dead, I don't like the drugs but the drugs like me and a song I never heard before. That song was powerfull and seemed to be from AS. Maybe it's a new song or a song for a movie (not golden years nor apple of sodom).
I hoped it would be the same show as in America, but it wasn't : no cross, no platform shoes (he wore black shoes with high soles). I was also surprised he didn't do the "we hate love, we love hate" thing. No spitting on him either.
Between two songs manson asks us to turn around and to spit on the people at the back. He calls them pussies and says he hates them. He wants them to die and not to buy his record. He says there all Live fans and that they're counting the lyrics in the Live songs. He calls the people in the front beautifull people and says he loves them. I always thought he hated beautifull people.
The last song is Rock and roll nigger. He first holds the hand of Pete (the fat black (or afro-american, if you prefer) bodyguard, I think it's the same guy as in the video) and then starts the song. The singer of monster magnet shows up and they sing and play guitar together (mr. manson and the mm singer). I don't know what they were singing, though. I guess it was still rock and roll nigger, cuz they at the end they sang the lyrics of that song. When manson finally left (he fell in the arms of his bodyguard) monster magnet broke a guitar.
Of course, manson showed his ass. He spit on us and threw the water bottles rather hardly to us. He also threw one bottle really hard backstage. Then he went himself backstage and came a few moments later back. There was something wrong with Twiggy's guitar in the middle of a song and they quicqly gave him a new one. I was afraid the show would be over, but it wasn't.
It was a good show, though. The people seemed to like manson, but didn't know the lyrics of his early songs. I don't know if I'll write a better and longer rewiew. I forget things rapidly. I'm jealous of you amricans: you have more classic manson concerts in closed concert halls. I hate to stand in the heat and the sun a whole day. Sorry for the bad grammar and spelling, but my head hurts terribly.
