First off, I'd like to say that Nashville Pussy has been getting a bad rap. They were actually pretty decent, and it didn't hurt that the two hot slutty slubs started making out with each other at the end of the show. It was hard cock-rock but in a good "Monster Magnet" way. I only wish Monster Magnet was there to add to the fun.

As usual, Manson and company opened up with the Reflecting God right after a long intro behind the blue curtain. The cross of televisions was quite entertaining. I feel I should add something here. Has anybody else noticed that during the beginning of the Mechanical Animals tour Manson and company were much more glam? They're reverting back to the goth thing a bit. Manson left behind the sequin and red outfit and mostly wore the black outfit, and John5 has lost the feather boa and colorful clothes for a more "Robin Finck" like look. It suits them better in my humble opinion.

Here is the general setlist:

1) Reflecting God (intro -probably the best part of the show)
2) Great Big White World (From the end of ACS to beginning of Mechanical Animals, very symbolic)
3) Get Your Gunn (Original stuff…we loved it)
4) Mechanical Animals (Stilts and Green lights)
5) Sweet Dreams (traditional)
6) Speed of Pain (Humphrey Bogart outfit with confetti)
7) Rock is Dead (Big Silver Cape!!!)
8) The Dope Show
9) I Don't Like the Drugs…(sign…before this song John5 mockingly sucked MM's unit)
10) Lunchbox (involved a new twist…Ginger jammed for a while and Manson talked to the crowd-tells the cop to suck his dick…you should have seen the look on his face)
11) Irresponsible Hate Anthem (He burned the American flag, backup signer with cop outfit shoots him)
11) Antichrist Superstar (Podium bit)
12) Rock n' Roll N***er (quite intense - he's in the cop outfit)
13) The Beautiful People (crowd loves it)

No Cake and Sodomy or Tourniquet encore I'm afraid.

End of show, but you can hear Manson's cover of "Get Your Rocks Off" (Dr. Hook) play on the speakers…a little bonus.

The show had more lights, FIRE, sparklers, but only ONE backup singer. She's gorgeous, but I miss the pseudo-lesbian action that accompanied them when they had two singers sing "User Friendly" back during the MA tour. What's with this, does anybody know? Of course the show was great. Lots of slutty goth girls there. I wish every night was slutty goth girl night. This was my 10th MM show, and was pretty much what was expected, but it was still great. I envy those who get to see him for the first time.
