Senator Joseph Lieberman/C. DeLores Tucker He said:
"The First Amendment has never been absolute."

She said:
"Corporations which refuse to be morally responsible
should not be allowed to exist."

These two tireless crusaders against free speech and musical expression have been harrying Marilyn Manson, other rock bands and assorted rappers for several years. Their attempts to seek legislation having failed, they now intend - as made publicly clear in Senate Subcommittee hearings since 1996 - to bully the record labels into policing themselves, under threat of losing their licenses to operate. Their supposed concern for America's children has quite plainly become a fanatical craving to see extreme and dissenting voices
silenced at any cost.

In the Interscope hearings and their other censorship efforts, Lieberman and Tucker have had the steady support of William Bennett and his right-wing lobbying group,
