The Corolla horses are genuine Spanish mustangs! The Corolla Wild Horse Fund raised the money for DNA studies, which were conducted at the University of Kentucky. These tests proved that the local legend of their original arrival 400 years ago with Spanish explorers is actually true, and that the Corolla band is one of the purest sources of old, undiluted Spanish Barb blood in the world today.
